Time for the Grades!

As mentioned in yesterdays post,
I am going to let you in on my true feelings on the
Perfectly Posh products I tried.

How much are they?
Do I plan on actually buying any?

Well first,
here is a little bit about Perfectly Posh and why I think they are a great company.

 They're paraben-free and paraffin-free
• They are free of sulfates including SLS
• They have no gluten, lanolin, or soy ingredients
• They use the highest-quality essential oils and fine phthalate-free fragrances
• They are very natural and consequently gentle: read our labels, please!
• They use natural enzymes and gently moisturizing vitamin E to preserve the life and look of our fun pampering products
• They're cruelty-free and do not test on animals!

Isn't that amazing!?

Now for the nitty-gritty.

Gender Bender : A+
I am seriously in love with this soap. Perfect for the oily skin issues I have always dealt with. I plan to buy this immediately. $9 per bar

The Stripper : B
I love this, it made my face crazy soft, and it smells good. A full container would last me ages because I would use it once or maybe twice a week. I will be buying this. However, the only reason it doesn't have an A? It's $22 per container

The Liberator : C
To no fault of it's own, it was difficult to get a good amount out of the sample container. I either barely got any or I got a huge glob. I used it twice around my eyes and didn't really notice much. I will not be purchasing this, however if it had done anything for me, I think that it's priced fair. $12 for a stick

Sugar Fix : A
I loved this stuff. It smelled delicious, and it made my face even softer than with The Stripper alone. It's a sugar scrub and it felt good on my face, I felt clean and refreshed afterwards. I will not be purchasing this, even though I love it. It is $20 per container

I'm Baaaaacck!

I have taken the longest bloggy break ever.
seriously.
I have missed this!

[Right now I am most likely sitting in the middle of an interview! Good luck and prayers are needed!]

I have a bunch of posts I want to write, but I thought I would start with something super fun.
Like,

I honestly don't even remember how we bumped into each other online,
but an awesome Perfectly Posh consultant sent me some samples.

I have had them for quite a while but have yet to try them because I got hit with bronchitis.
Then the flu.
Then a cold.
No joke, I was out for 2 or 3 weeks from this stuff!

Anyways, back to the good stuff.
She sent me a bunch of things, but I have only tried a few.

First up was the Gender Bender bar.

This stuff was heaven.
Not an exaggeration.
Pure bliss, I tell ya!

I have ridiculously oily skin,
like sometimes even after I shower and wash my face it is still oily.

After I used this it was perfect.
Guys, my face has never not been oily.
After washing with this for a few days,
I have noticed a huge improvement with the oil.
No more washing my face 5 times a day!

After using the Gender Bender soap,
I tried out The Stripper.
(aren't you the tiniest bit interested because of the names alone? ha!)

You rub this on your face and let it sit for a while.
(like long enough to take the polish off your fingers and toes!)

I was warned it would tingle a little,
and tingle it does!
I was worried at first
(I'm overly paranoid)
thinking maybe I was allergic,

This is how it looks once on.
Sexy huh?
Dustin thought this would be a perfect time to let me know how unattractive face masks are.
However he did say it smelled good :)

Once I took it off, my face was BABY BUTT smooth.
I was so excited I ran around my whole house and made everyone feel...
..they were not as excited.

I then hopped in the shower,
but once I got out I put on some
Sugar Fix Scrub!

This stuff not only smells delicious,
but added to the softness of my skin!

If it were edible,
I would surely sneak a taste.
Did I seriously say that out loud?

Finally I put on some of
The Liberator

It's a vitamin E stick you use around your eyes.
It feels similar to chapstick ;)

Now that I have shared the most unattractive photo of me,
and talked non stop about beauty products,
you're probably wondering how much and if I liked them,
huh?

Well, I guess you will need to stop back by tomorrow and find out!
;)

Won't Back Down

Over the weekend Ashlee and I went to see a movie.
and boy oh boy do I have some things to talk about!

You see, lately I had been thinking of giving up on my dream to become a teacher.
Things weren't falling into place as they should,
it was one thing after another.
I had begun to think this was my sign to start heading a different way.

And then,
this movie.

This movie made me feel the passion I have for teaching like I have never felt it before.
This movie put the love back in me.
I know why I want to be a teacher,
I remember the reason this is worth it.

No matter the hardships,
my students will make up for it.
Always.

I am constantly telling myself that I'm not good enough.
I have a nonstop battle in my mind.

But I am working on it.
Right now I want to say,
I am good enough.
You are good enough.

Never give up on your dreams.
Ever.
They are your dreams for a reason.

I know I have been a bad blogger lately,
but I'm trying to change.
I'm trying to change many things in my life,
and I am excited to share them with you :)

Don't you love giveaways?

Once Upon a time, back in February or early March,
I won a giveaway over at 5ohWifey's blog.

I received some AWESOME stuff,
like a hair clip.
And some ad space, and gift cards that I've long spent.
(And Now have things to show you!)

But since we were moving, as soon as I received this one particular gift,
I packed it.

&I just found it and you just have to see it!

A BEAUTIFUL ring!

Four-Eyes

Do you remember when we were younger,
having eyeglasses was a dorky thing?
Now there are so many type of glasses that people actually wear them when they don't need them.

When I first got glasses, I was devastated.
Talk about kids being cruel!

Now I love them!
Especially the affordable frames over at GlassesUSA.com!

I was hesitant about ever buying glasses online, because let's be honest..some frames are
UGLY.

But GlassesUSA has it all figured out!

They have this awesome Virtual Mirror feature for you to try them on before you buy!

These are the frames seen above.
You can use your own picture, or use one they provide.
(which I did, because I'm not usually blogging looking my hottest!)

I still have about a year left until my insurance covers a new eye exam,
(and of course my eyes always get worse)
but I can't wait until then so I can order glasses online!

Go check out their facebook & twitter where they keep you in the loop on the best deals!

The next 2 days ONLY:
Use code: ENDOFJULY for 50% off and free shipping!

E.L.F. Cosmetics!

I have heard a lot of things about E.L.F. Cosmetics.
Or, Eyes.Lips.Face.

Both good and bad.

But for the price, I wanted to find out myself.

Everything pictured about cost me $15 with a free shipping code.
And if you join their email list, they are constantly offering sales!
So here's what I got:
1. Mineral Foundation, this was not for me though, so no review on this one :(
2. Zit Zapper, at $1 each I knew it was something I had to buy for me and my soulie to test out!
3. Brightening Eyeliner in Black
4. Hypershine Lipgloss, don't remember the color (more on this later!)
5. Shine Eraser sheets!
6. Eyelash Curler
7. Matte Nailpolish Top Coat
Shine Eraser Sheets:
I have tried so many different brands, I have a super oily face!
And this brand isn't bad! I prefer the clean&clear ones, but I do like these more than Mary Kay!
My only complaint is they kinda rip/disintegrate the more oil they pick up.
But they did their job and that's what really matters!
B+
Eyelash Curler:
Uhh well, it's still in it's package. Sorry! I will have to post again on it once I try it!
But it did come with a replacement pad which was nice :)

Brightening Eyeliner:
First off, this stuff is as waterproof as it gets and it doesn't even say waterproof on it!
I'm not sure that it does any "brightening" of my eyes though...not sure what to expect anyways ;)
It goes on flawlessly, lasts all day, doesn't smudge, and it's only $1!
A+
Hypershine Lipgloss:
I am not a big lip gloss/lip stick kind of girl, I'm happy with my Soft Lips, but I am realllly wanting something with a little more color. So I figured I couldn't beat this!
I put it on, and hated it. HATED it.
It smelled bad, it was sticky, not just at first, the whole 15 minutes I left it on.
It tasted bad(what? I used to love my tasty chapsticks :P)
And the brush part already lost bristles after one use!
It went straight in the trash.
I'm bummed too!
F

Zit Zapper:
After using this a couple times a day, for a few days, I noticed a HUGE improvement!
(I plan to do a whole post on what I use with my face, and how horrible I break out)
I tend to get this HUGE pimples on my chin/jaw line, usually one or two a month, no big deal right?
Wrong.
They never go away! They are huge and gross and yuck!
Well after a day of using this(probably 3 times) it shrank to half it's size!
I was beyond happy with this product :)
A+

(first, you see that crumb in my bed? Yeah, toddlers and doritos aren't allowed in the bed anymore!)
Matte Nail Finisher:
I don't have a picture of my nails, because I am saving that for it's own post.
But at $2 a bottle this stuff is to die for!
It's almost instant, dries super fast, and it goes a LONG way.
It's funny, the same day I bought this I saw some at wal-mart and it was only $1.50, and I was thinking "Dang, cheaper and no shipping cost!?"
But it SUCKED!
So happy I got this :)
A+

Also am I the only one who "tests" nail polish out at the store? I feel like now that I shared that I'm gonna look like I steal things or something...Hmmm.
I hope you don't see it that way! haha

Have you tried E.L.F. Cosmetics before?
What do you think?
Have any other cheap but nice quality makeup you use?
I'm on the lookout!

Money Hungry

I seriously think that people are just money hungry these days!

If you follow me on twitter,
you know a couple days ago I got a bill from the school I withdrew from.
A bill.
And I was specifically told I was in the clear with them, no money owed.
Almost 2 months ago at that!

I am beyond upset and angry.
I don't have $880 to shell out!
I paid them Almost 30 grand for the crappy education I got.

Okay enough ranting,
I love the school, I really do.
It's just a lot of people at the school.
And the amount of money they are constantly trying to get from you.

I'm unsure where I am going this fall.
Ohio State?
I want to be there.
I love the small campus(it's a branch).
I would love living away from home again.
But I can't get ahold of anyone in housing.
I don't want to live without Dustin, again.

Or a small Tech School here to finish my Gen Eds?
It's right next to my mom's work.
It's cheap as crap!
I can stay at home.
I can work again!

What do you think?

Even after all the discouragement and troubles I've gone through since High School,
I still want to go to college. I still want to be a teach.

And I just got an awesome opportunity,
and some hope for people in this world that aren't money hungry.

They contacted me to write this post, but even if they hadn't, I would probably still be writing this.

They are dirt cheap.
And I mean that!

Psychology, David G. Myers, 1429215976

I had to use this Psychology book last semester.
Our bookstore only offered it to us brand new and I paid...
$160!
Well they have it for $20 a semester!

How ridiculous was my bookstore?
I will never be getting books anywhere else again!

And as if that is not good enough,
they also partner with..
http://www.operationsmile.org/img/living-proof/patient-stories/maria-before-and-after-241.jpg

Since partnering with them, they have donated over 1,000 life changing surgeries!
Are they not the best company ever?
I sure think so!

**PRODUCT REVIEW** All Glorious Within

A few weeks ago, I won an awesome giveaway over at 5ohwifey!
One item I got was a super adorable flower hair clip from

At first I wasn't sure if I could pull it off or not,
I'm not a flower kind of girl.

But seriously, I love this!
(I can't find a picture of it in my hair...I will keep looking!)
&so does my Soulie :)

I wore mine around on our mini-vacation to Amish Country.
I was getting compliments all day.
People were asking which shop I bought it at and I was thrilled to tell them I got it online,
and it is only $3.50!

She has several different prints, but this is my absolute favorite :)

Thanks L!
