This is my nephew Caleb. He was born at 27 weeks, this was one of the first times I saw him without CPAP :)

Caleb is turning 5 next month! 

You'll be seeing a little more of him soon!

The littles in my life are what keep me going!

This is probably the worst picture of myself, 

but 2 of my boys are looking mighty good!

There are so many things I love about this picture,

his too short pants,

my love for moccasins no matter what,

crazy hair,

true smiles,

beautiful scenery.

It sucks not being with him,

but so many things in life are better and different because of him.

I think you can tell my life is all about the people in it.

Not myself.

But you. And them.

Who am I?

My name is Meghan. I am 18. Young, ordinary, and slightly naive. I live 600 miles away from my home, my friends and my family. But I'm not the girl that you may think I am. I've lived through more than I ever should have. And I've made more stupid mistakes than I ever wanted.

But people mess up, always. No one is perfect, nor do I ever expect to be.

I'm writing this blog as a way to free my mind, make friends, and help myself.

Don't like what I write? Don't read it.

Going through the same thing? Tell me.

I'm not just here for me; I am here for you too.

I'm tired of being alone in my thoughts, and this is the safest way I could think to let them out.

Crazy, how "the safest way" I can let my feelings out is by sharing things with the internet. The whole world can share in my happiness, sadness, mistakes, and miracles. But this is what I want. I want to share this. I want to be a part of your life. Even if you only spend 5 minutes a day reading my blog.

I got this purse a year or two ago at American Eagle.

LOVE it!!

(We have ugly sheets because the boyfriend spilled syrup on them....)

1. Awesome Wallet I got in a gift swap!

2. Come on...I need some touch ups sometimes ;)

3. Cute little notebook I won in a giveaway! (I honestly don't remember who sent this, but I know they are from Australia and I have been dying to figure out who...do you know!?)

4. BEST.LOTION.EVER. Got it at T.J.Maxx...it's just a small thing. I need more!

5. Random Gum I found the other day. Win :)

6. Travel First Aid Kit...see below!

Travel First Aid:

1. GasX...never know when you might need it ;)

2. Random Band-Aids and Bio Freeze (including captain america and wolverine :D)

3. Uhh, sometime my ladyparts(or a friends) might need some attention too!

4. Anti-Diarrhea pills Random green pills, and almost gone allergy pills.

Plus some hair ties, cough drops, and motrin.

So without any more awkward text,

My Fridge.

Full Body Shot ;)

This whole shelf is usually dedicated to drink, but I spy some butter an yogurt hiding back there!

1. Our HUGE jug of ketchup...it even has a pump. I mean that's normal right?

2. Cran-Grape Juice. My addiction. I go through 2-5 GALLONS a week. I may have a problem :/

3. My puppy, aka Delilah, thinks she needs special food. This crap stinks!

1. This entire drawer is cheese. 4 bags, and 2 packs of slices. We like cheese!

2. Our obscene amount of lunch meat, we got 2 more containers today.

3. My mom and her girlfriend(the evil stepmother...forrealzz) only drink pop.

4. I made some apple crisp!

5. Boyfriend likes his BBQ rice...gross...looks like worms!

6. Random can of beer someone gave me for my mom to try. It's been there since New Years.

1. I like to keep desserts around so I keep my "chip" options open.

2. Baby Carrots...my current snack of choice.

3. Our drawer of random. That pie crust is from Thanksgiving. We don't eat cool whip. You get the gist? I wouldn't serve this stuff when you come visit, promise!

 

I think you can tell what most of this is!

1. Did I mention we like cheese?

2. Pear Butter! You know, like Apple Butter? (I haven't tried it, but I plan to force it on the boyfriend toast sometime in the near future, in case you care..)

3. Teriyaki Sauce. The Boy insisted we get it. Yuck!

 

Again, I think you get the gist of the majority of the fridge.

1. Taco Bell's Ranchero Sauce. The Boy nearly died when he saw it, thus why it is on the door of our fridge. (Barely used in case you were wondering)

2. Momma's Humira. Wanna hear a funny story? Before we moved we had dog vaccines, flu vaccines, and Humira in our fridge. You never know what you'll find living with a nurse ;)

I am super nosy, and loved going through everyone else's fridges ;)

One of my favorite seasons! :) I should probably introduce myself before I get into all of the goodness of why I love spring. I'm Cassie.

& I blog over at Live.Laugh.L0ve. I love Jesus. I'm a wife to an amazing man and we have two beautiful little boys. I love to write - really, my dream is to be a published author & I dance in the rain. I'm shy, quiet & deep until you get to know me then I'm slightly loud, bubbly and outgoing. Pizza is hands down the best food in the world and the color red is my favorite color. The laughter of my children is music to my ears and date nights with my husband are a must! I also own a little shop called ccy designs that im taking a temporary break from, it will be back though! After you find out why I love I'm talking {big puffy heart} love spring - come say hello! 1. I get to watch God's beautiful creations come to life. Oh hands down this my favorite part. Getting to watch all of those beautiful flowers bloom, the grass turn green & the birds start to sing - it's perfection.

{Via} 2. Getting to do yard work and prop my feet up outside after I'm done. Not only do I love making the yard pretty - I love getting to put my feet up, grab my favorite drink, sit down next to the hubs & watch the kids play in the yard. It makes all the hard work - completely worth it.

3. Getting to enjoy the sunsets. I am obsessed with the sky and in the winter it is wayyy to cold most nights to get to go outside and just enjoy them. Spring means I get to take the time to enjoy something I find breathtaking.

4. Being outside in general. We are definitly outside people. My kids love the outdoors ever more than I do. Here is Texas spring is warm enough to play outside in shorts, heck even to work on my tan. ;) We have already begun playing outside more, taking walks and of course tanning - because I'm whitey mccgee and that's going to change this summer I tell ya!

5. Two special things happen in spring that I love. First - Jay's birthday. This year he wants to go to the zoo and sense it's the time of year where that is a perfect way to spend the day that's what we will be doing & we are all so excited about it. Yeah I love the zoo. #ifeellikeakidagain. Second - Easter. I love any holiday really but getting to celebrate Jesus Resurrecting and teaching my little tots about it - is the best part of it all.

Favorite blogger: oh, this is a hard one...I'll go ahead and shout out to my blog BFF Meg :) She blogs over at Sweetly Complicated! She's such a sweetheart and I talk to her almost every single day! We laugh together, encourage each other, and hold each other accountable...all over various social media sites ;) By the way - if you don't have a blog BFF you're missing out!

Why you blog? I blog to stay creative, to appreciate life's little things, and to inspire others!

If you saw/experienced something that made you pee your pants, what would it be? This one is going to make me sound like an awful person, but I promise I'm not! I've always had an issue - when people tell jokes, I don't tend to think it's funny. But there is this one thing that always makes me bust a gut - when people fall! I literally DIE laughing before I can go help them up! It's such a terrible vice of mine, but I just can't help how hilarious I think it is!

Favorite spring trend: Statement necklaces for sure! I can't wait to expand my collection ;)
